Connect GitHub or Google to the account you already have
Settings → Account now lists your sign-in methods and lets you attach or detach Google and GitHub — even when the provider's email differs from the one you signed up with.
Settings → Account now has a Sign-in methods section. It lists how you can sign in — email and password, Google, GitHub — and each social provider shows Connect or Disconnect. Your email is not changed by connecting a provider: it stays the account's identity for billing and admin.
This fixes a real trip-up. Connecting used to work only when the provider's verified email matched your makesPDF email exactly, so signing up with your work address and then signing in with a GitHub account on a different email quietly created a second account. Connect now attaches the provider to the account you are already signed in as, whatever email the provider reports (as long as the provider says it is verified).
If that GitHub or Google account is already connected to a different makesPDF account, we say so and leave it where it is — sign in with that account, disconnect it there, then connect it here. And you cannot disconnect your last sign-in method, so you can never lock yourself out; connect a second one first.
Both GitHub and Google are available whenever the provider is configured for the deployment. Found under Settings → Account.
